Frequently Asked Questions

1. What makes Paradise Healthcare different than other home care agencies?

Paradise Healthcare has developed a reputation in the community of providing top quality home care services. We have achieved this by consistently providing outstanding service to every patient and working with professionals that have the care and compassion to give each person, representative of the Paradise vision.

2. Why should I go through an agency as opposed to privately hiring someone?

When someone privately hires an individual they become the employer. With that comes liability risks, staffing responsibilities, and quality management. An agency, like ourselves, insures and bonds all of our employees, assigns staffing managers to coordinate consistent staffing measures and conducts monthly nurse assessments to client's homes to monitor quality of care. With an agency the client can be assured that their care will be provided on a consistent basis and the family members who may need a break will have time to do the things they need to do, worry free.

3. How often are patient care needs reassessed?

Each client is assigned their own personal nurse care consultant. This professional conducts regular monthly assessments to each client’s home and during the visit they review the care that is being provided. A thorough evaluation is performed to determine that the services being provided are consistent with the clients personal care needs.

4. How are calls handled after business hours and on weekends?

Paradise Healthcare has professionals from the staffing and nursing departments manning our after hours phones 24/7. Each client is given these phone numbers in the event a situation arises that affects continuity of care.
